I have a problem with super glue drying up in between uses, so I prefer to buy small sized tubes. These are big enough for multiple uses, but not so large that I feel bad if I let one go too long. Even still, the caps fit as good as any other cap, so it’s not like the tube has to be used all at once.
I like how many come in a pack, and they seemed like a bargain at the price I got them for. Plus the packaging graphics are cute.

So the SuperGlueTM brand comes with its own pin to open their products, but this one doesn’t.
So I had to grab my own push pin (tack) so that I could open it without cutting it open. This makes it so that the individual glue lasts longer AND comes out slower.
10/10 for only spending around 50c each.

This form factor/amount just makes so much more sense than what is usually sold in stores.
You almost never need a whole lot of this stuff and it’s really good at sealing it’s lids shut after use, so having the smallest possible amount so you don’t have to think twice before trashing a used applicator is great.

Utility knife blade was not sharp enough to cut off the tip. I used scissors and it was difficult to control how much to cut off. The glue did not drip or flow out without my giving the tube a good couple of shakes, which spattered the glue around more than I wanted. Next time I will try to cut a larger hole so I don’t have to shake so hard.
That being said, the glue worked great and the handle to my 60-year-old Dutch butter knife is reattached to the blade! I think it will hold up well as long as I use it only with butter. With cream cheese or Nutella, I’m not so sure–I think I won’t try them without the additional support of duct tape. Unsightly, but better than risking a very special artifact from my 1963-4 Junior year abroad in Barcelona!

i really wanted these to work, but they did not. i have tried 10 tubes so far. a few were completely solid. the rest were so thick i could only get a couple small globs of thick paste out of them by using pliers to squeeze tube. useless. seller did not respond

First, there is actually a lot in each tube so even if you have a big project you are good to go or you can find your own way to seal it and save it for later ( I used a piece of duct tape put the cap on and stored it upright in a pill bottle and I used it up 2 days later though I did have to cut a bit more off the top). 2nd, it works just like super glue. There are only 2 downsides; 1, there is no lil pin to open it included like the single packs of super glue so you have to be careful when cutting it open and the plastic seal goes kinda far down the opening so you will have a large opening which makes it hard to apply drops to small areas, it kinda pours out so wear gloves if you don’t want your fingers glued together! LOL! and 2, as others have stated, the tube is very hard if not impossible to squeeze. But overall, so long as the rest of the 49 tubes are like the one I used, This is a winner! I will always have super glue on hand for the MANY projects that always seem to come up unexpectedly, and the price is so good that even if I don’t use the whole tube each time its cheaper than the big tubes that get wasted anyway!

After reading other reviews, I want to say that your experience may depend on whether or not you get a bad batch. My own experience has been positive so far after using several tubes from my one box over the past year.
First I’ll address spillage issue I’ve seen others have, and that I had when I first started using this glue. I’ve started the practice of orienting the tube so the cap is pointing up and tapping the bottom of the tube on a hard surface several times before cutting the tip of the tube open. This settles the glue to the back of the tube, away from the tip. Since I started doing this, I haven’t had any glue spill out upon cutting the tube open.
So far I’ve not had any unopened tubes dry out. Each one I’ve opened has been fresh. These are reusable, and the number of uses depends on how clean the tip is and how well the cap is put back on. Eventually the opened tube will dry out no matter what, which is why having several tiny disposable tubes is so great. Getting 50 of them at around $10 is a great value in my opinion. That’s about 20 cents per tube, less than a quarter. I’m careful about putting the cap back on and I’ve had a few opened tubes still usable after a month or two sitting on a shelf. I get between 3 and 10 uses per tube.
This superglue works as well as any other cyanoacrylate glue I’ve used. It’s very thin, so it requires the two surfaces you’re adhering together to be pretty close fitting. The larger the gap, the less effective the glue will be.
Because its so thin, this glue is great for using capillary action to pull glue between two surfaces that have been dry fitted together. Using an applicator, for example a toothpick, you can touch the bead of glue to the gap and capillary action will pull this super thin glue in between the surfaces.
I highly recommend using an applicator to reduce the risk of getting glue on your fingers. Oftentimes I’ll use something disposable like a plastic bottle cap or the plastic lid to a drink mix container as a tray to squeeze a bit of glue onto. Then I can dip the applicator into the bead of glue on the tray rather than trying to squeeze out just the right amount. This works best when using tiny amounts of glue. Using tweezers when gluing small items is also recommended.
I’ve started using these tubes to seal the edges of cardboard game tokens. For this I use tweezers to hold the token, with the tweezers contacting the flat faces and not the edges. Then I take the tube and run the tip along the edge of the cardboard while carefully squeezing the tube, adjusting squeeze pressure as needed. It dries quickly and hardens the edges to keep the paper laminate from peeling or fraying.
Overall, I’m very pleased with this glue. Always having a fresh tube to replace one that’s dried out is great.
