The aircraft model is detailed and well rendered. The vehicles went together well and needed little, beyond basic tools and skills to create, a pleasing diorama. For a person new to model building the inclusion of paints and glue is a bonus but most will choose to use a wider palette and a different glue. The detailed transfers are impressive, but difficult to handle, as many are tiny and need a magnifier to see them applied correctly.
The guns require part of the wing to be cut out to display them in the act of loading – perhaps not something for a first time builder!
The only real negative was the type of plastic used for the figures. It is an ‘oily’ plastic that paint does not adhere to well and is difficult to glue with standard modelling glues (if, for example you choose to fix mechanics on to the wings and the pilot somewhere on the aircraft).

Upon opening the package, it was found that the paint was dried out and unusable. We will be assembling without painting.
Mrs JL Picard –
Great kit to build and 3 model, the crew and paints and glue, not for the beginner. But for the more experienced

The model is cheap and the parts are small but the kit comes with paint (half of them was dried out) and glue. I added some other things to make it look better.

Very disappointed that some of the paint pots had dried up. I contacted the seller, but they didn’t respond. I gave them a chance before writing this review. The acrylic paint in this kit doesn’t cover the plastic very well. I suggest washing all the pieces in soapy water before painting. Assuming you have any paint pots that are not all dried up

This is a bit pricey, but made a great birthday present for someone whose birthday is on D-Day. They were thrilled with it, especially as it’s lockdown and many people are looking to try new creative hobbies.
Rachael Davies –

It was a lot of fun to assemble but the scale does make it a challenge to get right.
