Bought the little guys and gals to add to model dioramas and they are perfect.
Easy to chop about and soft enough to reposition. It says that they are RAF but I took the liberty of promoting the crab to the Falklands era RN
Great little kit of little people at a great little price

Only issue I have is that Airfix do not give paint colour advice either in/on the box and no longer on their website.

Bought these for use in dioramas. I remember buying this set about 25 years ago and had assumed that Airfix would make at least some effort to update it. The figures are still made from very soft plastic and that combined with the lack of detail makes painting a bit of a waste of time. The figures also require a lot of trimming due to poor quality moulding. I had hoped to use these in combination with the Airfix bomber resupply set but the disparity in detail and quality is going to make it difficult to get them to look right together.
Mad Mac –
Accurate and detailed figures that require no assembly. The only disadvantage is the fact that the mould is quite old and subject to production of a bit of flash. As the sprues are a fairly soft vinyl type of material the only way to remove the flash is using a very sharp modelling blade. Nevey try to use a file or any other method as you will end up with a ruined figure.
