When I bought the engine I figure I was getting a good deal. I got it to show my Grandchildren a model railroad When it arrived I found that the smoke function did not work. As they came over I used it 5 or 10 minutes at a time of about 30 minutes total. Now it’s starting to stop on it’s own and showing a short on my controller. Looking at it under magnification It appears to have been worked on in the past. Thus I believe that it’s either the worst built engine or a USED one. Not the new one as advertised! No wonder I got a deal. A fraud either way. !!!
