Just started my first miniature, every piece of this kit is useful (except the ruler, not sure what needs measuring). I didn’t even see it came with sanding blocks, they’re very handy. The x-acto blade has 3 different types of cutting edges. The hand drill works very well. Very cheap kit for those just getting into model building.
A Citadel mouldline scraper costs more than this entire kit! Maybe some day I’ll get to the point where I’m spending $20/tool, but for starters this kit is very worth it.

The kit looks cheap af. Also not including a case is a fail for me. That being said the kit has the tools you need to build a kit, I can recommend it as your very first kit but you will look for better tools soon enough.

I bought 3 of these tool kits for our Modelers Club. I found the clippers to be very user friendly, the sanding blocks are perfect for taking down rough areas. The white surface of the block is great for polishing after sanding.
