I like this stuff a lot. It is an excellent complement to Tamiya Extra Thin. It takes a minute or so to dry and the bond is solid, so it’s very good for large parts. Often you can touch up with Tamiya. It’s better than both Testors and Tamiya Orange in my view: it reminds me of the Revell Germany cement except that you can get it here. Not cheap I guess, but the bottle is good size and will last for several kits. I will buy more.

received it today. tried it, and it works great.

Plastic Magic is my favourite glue to use when building miniatures, I’ve tried others but not found one as good as this.
This particular glue is super thin consistency so goes on in a thin coat which helps to reduce excess glue on the joints. It’s best to apply the glue to both contact points as it works by melting the plastic to bond the contact points together. For this reason it can’t be used on painted surfaces as it won’t work properly. It must be a clean surface.
It’s quite quick drying so it’s important to make sure that the pieces to be glued fit together properly and are positioned correctly as you don’t get long to correct the positioning once the pieces are pushed together.
The application brush is small and thin which helps with accurate application and as a bonus you get an extra longer brush to use when the level of glue in the bottle is getting low, so you can reach every last bit of glue and not waste any.
I’ve had a few bottles of this now and will continue using it as it does a great job.

Plastic glue in general is good stuff for model building, but the metal-nozzle bottles are just not precise ENOUGH for my taste. When working on very small detail figures, even a small mistake with the glue can mean it runs a bit out of control and potentially melts some of the detail near the join. The brush-on applicator in this product is much more forgiving, the glue thin enough to flow from the brush but thick enough that it doesn’t run all over. This is the plastic glue I’ve been looking for for years. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

I tried glueing plastic to plastic and didn’t glue together. Not happy with the product. Crazy glue works a lot better. Not worth the 45$ . ☠👎

It’s ok

I had learned about this from Pete the Wargamer and had to try it. I must say it’s better when applying to models because the applicator is easy to use and can make perfect pin point glue applications.

Good product and quick delivery.

Didn’t work! Waste of money!

Similar to Tamiya’s quick setting.

Tamiya make an excellent selection of different glue types for styrene but this one does pretty much everything – including ABS – and does it well. It thoughtfully comes in a wide bottle that helps avoid tipping, and comes with two different length brushes to access it all. Oh, and it smells nice: not an unimportant feature when you’re using it all day long.

This is a very strong glue; it makes a tight bond. However, it’s not instant like some others. You’ve got to hold it for about ten seconds.
