Fun kit, corsairs were/are the coolest ww2 planes. Parts fit perfectly, tamiya is the best.

Not uo to Tamiya’s usual standard. Considerable flash and ill fitting parts, particularly on the B, X, and Y sprues. Suspect I got one off the end of a production run. Am still working on it, but I buy Tamiya stuff, because the parts fit. annoying to have to put up with so many issues. Lots of trimming and filling to do on this one.

The kit is an excellent kit of the early Corsair, 5 star for the kit. The shipping in the other hand left alot to be desired. It was shipped in a mailing bag, no bubble wrap or any other packing material. The result was a crushed box. The kit was not damaged, but if you are a kit collector or would want to keep the very nice box art, not good. This is the second kit I bought from this seller, both the same way. Crushed box but kit OK.

As with any Tamiya kit, this model is well detailed and comes with easily accessible parts on well formed sprues. There is hardly any flash to remove before starting to build the kit.
The parts fit together very well and the completed model, with the motor-tug will make a good carrier deck diorama, with very little extra to add. The decal sheet allows for three versions of the aircraft.
This is a very good kit for the price! It is a TAMIYA kit, which means that this is a “quality” model! (That is my personal opinion!)

Have yet to assemble this, but the standard of the mouldings and the general quality of the kit are very high. To build this to display presentation requires an experienced modeller. It would be worth it.
