. . . when out on medical leave for a knee reconstruction in 1993 , I built one of these . . . a much more substantial toy . . . I nearly trashed this unit when I first opened the box . . . once I read through the instructions & saw the many added perks I decided to build this unit instead of trying to return it . . . it it works out well , i’ll upgrade my opinion to 5 stars . . .

  6. Ed Buckwald

This product came with “generic” instructions on how to put it together. Often I would have to figure out where a piece went as there were no indications in the instructions. I like the look of the nearly finished plane, however, if you have no experience in cutting and assembling wood models, this is not the one for you.

Unfortunately, the prop was missing from the box. I made several phone calls and wrote a letter and finally received a snarky/irritated return call indicating she would send the part. It’s been 6 weeks and NO PART YET.

  7. Albert D Turley

About 1/2 of the balsa parts are high precision laser cut and easy to remove. The other 1/2 are poor quality die cut. The die used to cut must have been old or dull resulting in damaged parts which are more crushed than cut. The cut is so bad that in some instances you can’t even see the shape well enough to cut it out with a razor knife.

  8. James F

My First Big build – quite a Challenge ! But ! Having FUN !

  9. RID

The cutting was excellent! I’m going to convert this kit from rubber power to electric RC.

  10. BJ La Trace

Colis arrivé à peine la commande passée . Je n’ai pas encore attaqué ce Corsair , mais inspecté le contenu de la boîte , aucune surprise , tout est là pour la réalisation d’une superbe reproduction de ce chausseur devenu légende

  11. James F

Looks like a good kit but it’s odd part of the balsa parts are laser cut while others are still the traditional die cut.

I would most definitely give it a 5 star if all the kits were laser cut. Why do 1/2 laser and half die cut? So strange.

  12. R GER

Another Christmas gift. Recipient very happy with it. Shipped and arrived quickly. Great quality.

Love it! As a stay home project because of Covid. Got away from the TV, became involved with the plane while listening to smooth jazz
