  1. Gumby

This is a bare-bones kit and comes with zero extras. Lots of extremely small parts for the detail-oriented, but many of them were too small for me to manipulate effectively and were omitted. Two of my sprues were short-shot, but fortunately it didn’t affect any of the parts. Part fit was poor at times, and additional care was needed when aligning/assembling. The main body sections showed some splaying. The plastic is very hard, which is a plus. The directions were generally terrible, especially for the cockpit. Make sure you read ahead and plan well. The end result is decent, but I’m unlikely to buy another Hasegawa kit.

  2. Alberto V

By far the most difficult model I’ve ever built. A ton of small parts and close in work. But I love it. It’s beautifully detailed and the parts fit extremely well together with little flashing. I would have given it 5 stars but there were places where I had to drill holes that were missing and the cockpit decals left a lot to be desired in appearance and fit.

  3. Zach Vinson

I love these detailed kits. Hasegawa models always go together well. I prefer kits with lots of parts and this kit, with 296 parts doesn’t disappoint. I have an Army aviation base near my home. I’ll be going there to get some references.

It was nice time consumer looks great everything was on point but only problem I got is decals I don’t know if I have to glue myself but all in all it was pretty great thing to do i enjoyed it.

  5. BeaRug58

Complex kit, but the results are worth it. Best model of the Longbow out there. Need better decal options. Nice

  6. Tony

Parts fit very well, and the detail is excellent. I’m about 50% done building it, and so far it looks great! I have 2 small complaints. The instructions can be a bit unclear at times, and there is a little more flash than I’ve found on any other kits is this price range. Overall, very pleased.

  7. Pat

While this model does have good detail ( better than that of most cheaper model brands ) I had issues with it going together. The instructions didn’t always match the model ( holes would be shown and there were none etc. ). It you’re looking for a model with a lot of pieces this one’s for you…But,since most of them get covered up anyway, does it matter? Guess it depends on what you like.

  8. Tim Furlong

Very impressed with the high quality in details. Took a good fun time putting together and everything fit snug and looks Amazing! If you’re in love with this glorious helicopter I’d recommend buying this model.
