I bought this kit for GUNPLA painting. The Airbrush is very nice the compressor works well. However the working psi just wasn’t enough to run alot of primers and acrylics. Even if I thinned the hell out of them it seemed to cause issues. I have since upgraded to a bigger compressor and have no issues. That being said it’s great, nice quality and has it’s utility. I think it’s great for certain applications but not so much for mine. Not a fault of the product persay more my research.

Amazing for air brush makeup!! So easy to use. A tip is for silicone based have it turned to near high test setting. When applying bronzer or blush I turn it down to medium. You can find on YouTube how to disassemble to gun to get a more thorough clean. I haven’t done this yet I just clean it with silicone based cleaner and it never clogs up. Totally worth the expense. Will never go back to cakey makeup that irritates my skin and causes breakouts

After borrowing a family member’s airbrush I realized I needed to buy one for myself. After doing some research I finally rested on the Iwata brand and I am very pleased with my purchase so far.

It is a great value. I am just learning to use an airbrush and this is my first one. I am not skilled at it but I love the quality of this machine. While I am not the most coordinated, I can easily see how to adjust the pressure and paint flow to achieve the desired results. I don’t have much opportunity to use it so that slows my learning a lot more. However, this is a great machine. Practice makes perfect and for how little I use it I have learned rather easily. Not that I am at the professional level. I am still at the Novice level but I have progressed. I think if I used this regularly I would improve very quickly as it is easy to learn what the settings do. RECOMMENDED. 🙂

I bought the Iwata Ninja for use with silicone based foundation. I use Temptu pro makeup. Mainly I use this to put on my foundation and blush every morning. The Ninja is sleek and small and fits anywhere. Because i use a silicone base makeup, i have to use the highest psi setting. Its not that noisy at all, i dont even hear it anymore. One thing I have noticed is that if i turn it off (lets say to add more makeup to the gun) sometimes it takes a couple of seconds for the motor to come back on. I’ve read in other reviews that this is normal. I’m using the iwata hi performance plus C airbrush gun which is great but does need to be cleaned at least once a week. You have to take everything apart and clean it very well. This airbrush gun can even do eyeliner.

Great quality airbrush and compressor for an excellent price. The Iwata HP CS airbrush is perfect for miniature painting enthusiasts and is a premium quality product. The Ninja compressor seems to be good quality but does not include a moisture trap or PSI rated pressure gauge. The compressor leaves a lot to be desired, especially at this price point for miniature painting purposes even though it appears to be a durable and high quality product.

I didn’t give it five stars… Because I ordered this before and the gun that came with my old one was much better quality! The compressor is awesome… However I’m not a fan of this gun. Seems to Have much more issues for being brand new… Compared to my old one which I never had any issues even after 4-5 years

EDIT: December 15th, 2017 The company approached me via email to say that they would refund the $32.00 I spent on returning the the defective product to them. Then today they wrote to me and stated they wouldn’t and acting like they were doing me a favor by not charging me a restocking fee for the defective compressor. They obviously are selling used items as well, as they stated that they would be cleaning the items for resale. I would recommend finding another supplier of the same items that goes through Amazon Prime.
Initial Review. I’m sure this is a great product but my compressor rattles and shakes when the airbrush is not in use. I couldn’t figure out what it was so I’m sending it back. I’m having to pay return shipping and I’m not OK with that. Also, I oiled the airbrush as per instructions and the trigger is still sticking a bit. Maybe this is normal when it’s brand new but for the price I thought it should’ve been smoother.
