My granddaughters made these vehicles and gave them to their little brother. They had a great time assembling the race car, truck and motorcycle. Directions were clear, all the parts were provided, and they could follow the instructions or add their own flourishes. The finished vehicles looked great, but they were not sturdy enough to survive I love cozy (British-style) mysteries. Just a Still Life had all the features that make these fun: a small town in Canada where everyone knows everyone; a sympathetic detective fresh from the frustration of a stressful big-city assignment; a homespun cast with characters like Aunt Polly, the postmistress who makes blueberry waffles to comfort her godson; ancestral grudges and old homes with secret passageways; bodies piling-up in the most unlikely places; and plot twists to keep me guessing whodunnit. If you love a good cozy, heat up a cup of cider and open up this book.

Would of got 5 stars had we not been missing the glue. The kit didn’t seem to of been opened before but it’s still possible someone opened it, removed the glue or the factory just missed it in this one. Still was fun to build & paint with my 3 year old son. Took a good couple hours.

Our kit had two pieces missing from the race car (the suspension) which made it impossible to build. My son was very disappointed ☹️. It appears that the boxes are not put together with much thought…..

Sadly like others pieces were missing disappointing my nephew on his birthday amazon were able to sort out a replacement so it was resolved. Great item he had a lot of fun building. Please check all the pieces are present if buying this.
Updated: the replacement item also had bits missing thankfully different bits but they need to up quality control clearly.
