I really enjoyed this kit. Plastic parts fit together nicely, no filler needed on deck it set right into place. Photo etch can be fiddly but the only folding is on the tower ladder. Will purchase this kit again. Beautiful kit of an early U-Boat.

Excellent model of a ww1 German submarine a UB1 class boat in my opinion the UB1 is the grandfather of the popular WW2 type 7 u- boat if you look at the follow on types the UB 2 and UB 3 you can see were the type 7 came from what makes a UB1 so unique was its ability to be disassembled and transported by rail to a different location The company is very good and easy to deal with and very helpful.
