This was a good model for the price some of the railings bent during assembly.

  3. Burkhard A. Meier

Very authentic but tiny. I should have purchased the larger model. It was fun reading the U-Boat manual while gluing the toy.

  4. John Wedell

I was happy with the detail features for the scale. To save space, I prefer the 1:350 scale for ship models. I had to wait a week for this model to arrive from the UK (ironic), but it was worth the wait.

  5. G. Robinson

A nice model but a lot smaller than i expected

    It’s ok

  7. Jennifer L Shackelford

I purchased this as a gift for my son’s birthday. This was the smallest model he has done thus far, and probably the best one. It actually helped him to learn how to use model glue better and more efficiently. The instructions for the decals could be a bit easier to understand, especially for a 12 year old. They were picture only with no written directions. The same is true for each step of putting the model together. There are TINY pieces in this model so it is NOT an appropriate model for young builders or those just starting out. Because there are tiny pieces, you need to have a model builders tool kit that has model tweezers to hold those tiny pieces.

  8. Mr.big120012

Great little model. About eight inches long when completed and after a paint job and some weathering it looks really nice. Nice detail but some of the parts are literally a few millimetres long and you need some skill to get a good finish. About three hours from opening box to complete and weathered/painted and on it’s stand. Thinking about getting the Platinum version at 1/72 scale. It looks like a beast

  9. Burkhard A. Meier

Tough little bugger to build. hard to see detail.

  10. Brandon P.

    To small

  11. Derrick

It was so small took it threw it away it was a little bit bigger than ink pen

  12. G. Robinson

Don’t even bother. So small you’ll lose bits cutting them out, break bits and glue yourself together. Even with tweezers it is a nightmare. It looks impressive in pictures and painted in the booklet, but you’d have to have such tiny tiny brushes and magnifying glasses it will just look rubbish. Given up and getting a bigger model to make.
