    Reasonable representation, let down badly by the lack of detail in the cockpit and canopy—–good starter kit, dont expect too much—–remember to weight down front end as nightmare after built, instructions do not advise this.

    This model is small but so is the price. The parts fit together well enough (some parts needed a little trimming but not a problem. Wings required a little work to trim to a perfect fit. The canopy, as other reviewers indicated, is very basic and didn’t fit very well. If you are throwing the kit together for fun, you won’t care that much. If you are more serious about the finished built quality you can fill gaps and get a satisfactory result. There is no pilot figure and the decals do not include a swastika which almost all images of ME262 aircraft of the time show. The decals sheet was torn when I got it but when communicated to the seller, I got a complete replacement kit for free in perfect condition! – Very Satisfied. You get what you pay for and this kit is in line with the price paid.

    Always been interested in the advances’s in the German race to get jets in the air, this model is nicely detailed, goes together nicely, nice cockpit detail and looks great when finished.

    The parts generally fitted together well with only a little fettling needed. Not much in the way of flash. Some drilling required. You do need weight in the nose so dont forget that, you might find difficulties in fitting enough.
    Pleasant fun build.

    I’ve had this kit sat in my stash for a couple of years and have finally got around to building it.

    The bulk of the kit has a good amount of details and fits together well although there is some flash on the molded parts which will need to be removed. The cockpit especially is well detailed, not that you will get a particularly good view of it because the canopy is truly awful, easily the worst I’ve ever seen in any kit. In addition to having poor transparency, the representation of the canopy framing varies from very faint to non-existent making masking a major pain. To top it off the canopy is an extremely poor fit. In the end I decided to order an aftermarket vacform canopy.

    The instruction are another weak point, they’re in the form of an A5 booklet containing poor quality images and some of the text is virtually impossible to read without magnification, it looks suspiciously like an A4 booklet which has been photocopied and reduced in size.

    A few people have commented about the need to add weight to the nose, the instructions do mention the need to add 20 grams of weight inside the nose on page 6 (the most I could squeeze in was 11 grams which worked fine) although it’s not particularly clear and easily missed.
