    Not a bad model kit, but the mold is definitely old. I had to dig out a lot of details myself but I think it turned out pretty good!

    I bought both this F-14 Tomcat and the newer F/A-18 “Maverick” kit in 1/48 scale. My 13 yo son built the F-14 all by himself. I think this is his 3rd or 4th model kit he’s built. Kit comes ONLY with 1 pilot. My son borrowed the back seat pilot from another kit. Painted the whole thing with Valero and Testor’s Model Master Acrylic paints. He used a airbrush and compressor kit to paint the exterior. Came out great and he really enjoyed building it as much as he enjoyed watching the “TOP GUN” movie for 1st time. In my opinion, this kit can be easily and completely painted by hand without the need for a airbrush.

    Es el mismo molde clásico del F-14 A de Revell/ Monogram, los paneles en alto relieve, el kit requiere algo de trabajo para armarlo bien, para modelistas con alguno de experiencia o principiantes, es un avión grande con buenas calcas y a un excelente precio.

    I was very disappointed with this kit. First off the model only comes with Maverick and not Goose. Second the real kit comes with a color instruction manual and color sheet this didn’t come with it which scream knockoff. I would recommend buying this from this dealer.

    Absolutely love the detail in this kit. I plan on finding all the same scale kits and build them for a TOP NOTCH desktop collection. I just don’t recommend these kits for beginners! Try not to get “The need for speed!” with these kits. They are highly detailed and will take you some time to build. But in the end it’ll all be worth the time taken. After that you can “kick the tires and light the fires!”

    TG2 nailed it, worth the wait. Ordered this to display next to the F/A 18E that just arrived. Still geeking out at an older age.

    Best priced model for the scale that I could find. You have to pre-fit pieces and some required some fine adjustments to fit. Wish building with landing gear up was an option.
