    I was excited to get this kit as there are not many models of the Convair CV-340 available. The fit is near perfect ant the details in this scale are great! The kit builds fast, with a little sanding and filling here and there and painting was a breeze. Then came the decals… the best I can say about them is they looked good on the backing paper, but getting them off the backing paper and on to the model was a major pain. I soaked them, I read articles, I soaked them some more, and finally slowly carefully I coaxed them off. In the process some of them broke, but again with care and patience I got them on the model. For sure copy these decals before you begin just in case you have to make a set, or purchase another set online before getting started. This is the second model from Roden that I’ve built with the same frustrating problem. Great plastic, lousy decals! I would buy this kit again, but I would use after market decals. You have been warned! 🙂

    This model looks like a fun build. The parts look clean along with nice decals. I just don’t like my boxed models shipped in a envelope, they arrived crushed.
