This model is a kit comes totally unassembled and unpainted. It is not recommended for someone who is new to the hobby. If you want a showroom quality and close to the real bike, be prepared to spend at least 20 hours.
The good
– as always Tamiya makes really good quality model. Everything fits perfectly.
– it is very detailed and has many parts.
– this is a licensed product by Ducati so you have top notch model.
– the plastic is not brittle and it sands really well
The bad
– too many parts and too many different colors to paint.
– the decals while printed well they are difficult to apply even when use setting solutions
– some instructions are confusing so spend more time studying them.
– most of the black parts are covered in carbon fiber. But Tamiya doesn’t provide it so you need to buy after market carbon fiber decals.
This is a highly detailed kit and if you are patience and have a lot of skills I highly recommend it. Otherwise stay away.

早速 手を着けて見ました。一番の違いがフレームの存在。と言っても背骨の様な物。リアスイングアーム、リアサスペンションユニット、エキゾーストユニットは、エンジンに直付け。車体構成の違いがよく解ります。エンジンもV4で1199パニガーレとは別物です。気持ちが先走り完成させたいのですが、じっくりと作っていきます。パーツは、流石のタミヤさん繊細で綺麗です。パーツの合わせ目もスッキリ綺麗です。思ったより作り易い感あるキットだと思います。1199パニガーレと比べて作れるので楽しみです。
とりあえず全体のフォルムを。ここまでで一番感じたことは−パーツが綺麗で繊細。カウルの肉厚も薄く綺麗です。カウルのピュアレッド、塗料が無くなり下塗り状態です。ピュアレッド待ちです。とにかく楽しいキットだと思います。
なんとかここまで進みました。充分な存在感、1199パニガーレとの車体構成の違い……1199パニガーレが小さく見えてくる存在感はたまりません。写真を追加しました。LEDでヘッドライトを点灯。特徴的なポジションランプとテールライトは、ちょっと難しい。
2台購入したうちの2台目に、ポジションランプだと思いますが？チップledを着けて見ました。実車の様に全体が白く点灯して蛍光灯の様に光りませんが……雰囲気は出ていると思います。ヘッドライトも取り付けます。テールライトはチップledが2個だと雰囲気が出ます。電池はエアーボックスを取ってガソリンタンクで隠す様にしてます。
