Bought this for 8 yo grandson, at his request. He paid for it with his own money. I thought his father had o.k.’d the purchase, and I didn’t even check it out. I thought it was a fancy toy, didn’t even realize it was a model to be assembled! Way above an 8 yo child’s head. But he was very happy with it, and his father agreed they would work on it together. So it worked out o.k.

IMHO, Tamiya makes the finest quality models and this 1/48 scale armored vehicle is no exception. I am never disappointed with Tamiya products. I only gave 4 stars for ease to assemble because anything modeled with this degree of detail is not easy, and usually not for beginners. Really great products.

Apart from swapping the grab handles for wire this is spot on.

The kit arrived on time and with good packaging. The kit itself is ok but very small. I know the scale but when you take the gun barrel length off the kit the tank itself is very short. The main body of the tank also glues together in a odd way and is difficult to connect. The kit is also supposed to not need any glue, It must be me but I could not get the kit to connect together without glue. overall disappointed.

I love putting Tamiya models together!! The instructions are great and everything fits! The details are crisp and accurate. This particular kit has some small fiddly parts, so I wouldn’t recommend it for the beginner.
Overall a fun and satisfying build! Highly recommended.

4/5 ⭐️due to poor packaging. Box placed in envelope which was crushed in transit. No other issues. Great model.

I ordered as a present for my Dad, it was a good competitive price and arrived promptly. I was however disappointed as the box didn’t look new, all corners were worn like the example picture and the box was loose and not sealed in any way. Which overall was a shame as this was a present, and I don’t have confidence in the product as a result. Not the end of the world I know but not what I expect when buying new items.
