I’ve done one single repair with this putty. But it was a complete alteration of the side of an airplane
where the picture that I’m copying has no window at all, the plastic model had a huge, bay-type bubble on the side of the
fuselage. So I had to trim out the raised part of the “metal” to make it the same height as the rest of the side of the
fuselage. For someone who isn’t the most artsy craftsy person in the world, I was almost amazed at my results.
It takes a diamond file equally as well as 400 grit sand paper. It did a superb job of filling the hole and adhering to the inside, with
fewer layers than I anticipated. I belive that it is “carvable”, and I’m going to try and match the rivet panels by scrolling into the
finished putty. Since I haven’t done that yet, and I haven’t painted yet, I’ll reserve my 5th star for later. I’m VERY happy with this product.

It’s a ok product from tamiya
I’d don’t think I’d by it again after using it
It really wasn’t that adhesive to what I was using it on
Tamiya products are a bit pricey for my taste
Nice tamiya product but it’s price was a bit high
Cheaper on the tamiya website

Goes on nicely dries rather fast and sands easy
Just what I am looking for

This stuff is easier to use than milliput, sets fills better than liquid greenstuff, is less messy than sprue goo and dries faster/smoother than any of them. First rate for filling gaps or adding surface texture to your miniatures, I now wouldn’t ever be without it.

Good quality for the price.

I tried this putty to give me texture that would simulate cast iron. It worked great. I designed a medieval door that needed a textured door knob and faux nail heads. Spackle usually works for me but on the metal surfaces I knew I needed this putty to really stick and not crack off like spackle.

Gayet iyi hızlı kuruyor. Maket için ideal.

I’ve only so far used it for adding a cast iron texture to a MaK model (works amazingly for such a simple technique), but it works incredibly well for added texture. It dries very quickly so be mindful you’ll have to work fast! That is a strength and a bit of a drawback, as the rapid drying time means shapes hold better and you don’t have to wait a long time for curing. I’ve so far only used a finger stipple technique (with gloves!) and it can take a bit of time to understand how the putty moves and reacts. Excellent stuff, though. I love it.

Very easy to work with, malleable, easy to sand. Ideally suited for the purpose. Very happy with this product.
