I have not had a chance to test the item (I will revise my feedback after that if necessary) but this item appears to have been returned and then resold as new. Buyer beware.

So far, this compressor has worked very well for me. It’s much quieter than a normal air compressor. It sits on the floor directly next to where I work, and it’s quiet enough that the noise doesn’t bother me at all. Previously I had used a standard pancake air compressor that I got from a home improvement store. It was so loud I couldn’t be in the same room with it when it was running, so this has been a huge improvement. Air flow seems smooth and consistent.

I’m new to airbrushing and have only used it a few times so far but it was really easy to set up and use. A few tips I learned:

    1. You will likely need an adapter for your air hose. I use the badger 105 patriot airbrush and the badger 50-2010 airhose, and it needed this adapter to connect to the compressor: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002VZO0Y4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    2. Make sure to play around with the pressure settings. For painting miniatures, I set it around 35 PSI.

    3. Make sure to get cleaner solution to clean your airbrush between colors, and consider dissasembling and cleaning more thoroughly between uses or especially if you aren’t going to be using for awhile!

    4. When disassembling and reassembling during the deep cleaning process make sure to look up YouTube videos on how to do it. There is one part to the reassembly (mostly having to do with the trigger) that requires quite a bit of dexterity and care to do correctly.

Es un compresor adecuado para aerografia

I bought a cheap $40 compressor marketed under a popular hobby paint name and I should have done a little more research and bought this first. The pressure switch works perfectly- in my case, it kicks on a second or two after i start using the airbrush and kicks off about two seconds after I stop. I have my output set between 25 and 35 most of the time.
I do not currently see the need for a tank, which costs $100 more on most other models. This is easily the best bang for the buck in compressors.

The only downside is the noise. I thought the poor quality one I started with was loud, but this one is not much better. And it vibrates badly enough to run across the table on its own- make sure you have a nice long hose (mine is a 10 foot) to run this from the floor, or under the table to cut the noise a little. I will be running this on a foam floor mat in addition to it being on carpet, so that it doesn’t shake the shared duplex wall I work next to.

Good little compressor. Works well, just wish it had a tank that it would fill up so it would shut off. Noise level isn’t bad and is very light in weight.

  9. Cliente de Amazon

El aerografo se utilizó para pintar modelos a escala. Resultó extraordinario. La regulación de aire es excelente y permite lograr muchos efectos con la pintura. Gracias por este excelente producto.

  10. HK Enthusiast

Works great, lightweight and fit the price you can’t beat it.

I ran it through it’s paces big time for two weeks and it performed flawlessly. Remember to purchase an adaptor as the threads to connect an airbrush hose to it are 1/4. Link to an adaptor
