I ordered this for my 9 year old daughter- I did not expect it to have so many amazing parts and features! I didn’t read the reviews I just ordered this on the fly, and I cannot say enough about it! The first thing she built was the luminary, and she is using it as a nightlight for her and her smaller sister (she turns it off when her little sister falls asleep)- but it is beautiful! I mean, it’s stunning, sturdy, and taught her about assembly and wiring! Her teen brother even asked if he could have one of them to build, too! This kit is amazing!!!! If you are looking for something super fun for the kids- get this!

My only problem with this was the star lamp didn’t have all the parts.. From what I can tell the rest seem to be good with the parts and my 10 y/o son loves putting the stuff together.

Bought it for a preteen and loved it! I did have to use a nail file to make a few of the slots a little wider. Otherwise,I had no part in helping to build them. It does take some focus and understanding of what the outcome should be outside of the directions. Will definitely be buying more! They are pretty sturdy (just need to go back and glue a few pieces the directions do not have you glue- ONCE it’s built . The quality is good for a kids project and had a few extra pieces. And they do work/run!

I gifted this for my kid to work with over the school break. The instructions aren’t exactly clear and makes a few assumptions that kids (not having any experience in these types of projects) should already know. Although the details state that it’s for 8-12 years old, basically, the pictures in the product lead you to suggest that 3 to 5-year-olds can easily build it. FYI – you need a lighter in order to use shrink tubes.

It is really cute a bit loud but still really cool to do with your kids or just for yourself. And like I wrote above make sure you glue what needs to be glued, with a little bit more glue to make sure it stays. Other than that its a cute toy.

My 10 yr old enjoyed assembling and playing with these. It took about a 1/2 hr or so a piece. We though we were missing a piece but it got lost in the cushion of the kitchen chair. They are plenty of amusing fun!
