Great Airfix kit. it builds up in to a superb model. Easy to assemble. Plastic is not too soft but take care with the smaller parts. I built mine to represent the picture on the box art. Posed in a diorama i made up using real sand, real vegetation and ‘scale’ rocks to represent the North African desert in WW2 where this plane operated.
The new tooling Airfix kits are nice and crisply moulded. I was impressed by the ‘flash’ on the parts. Good value for money as a 1;48 scale kit. What’s not to like? It’s not too complicated as a kit to assemble so would be good for youngsters!

If there is one issue with Airfix kits it is the occasions when the assembly directions are a bit vague . It is good advice to do a test without glue first. The same applies to paint instructions. Do you paint the whole part or just the surface highlighted by the arrow. It was a well produced kit, a good example for anyone returning to this absorbing hobby
