Smooth, quiet analog operation, decent power pick-up. At low speed it becomes less smooth but is acceptable. Not tested in Digital operation, have not pulled many cars or any grades. Good operation on tight turns and no issues with Kato Turnouts. Will update if something of note comes up

Bought as a Christmas gift for an older family member who loves everything SOUTHERN rail lines. He’s been collecting N scale trains and stuff to build his railway for years. He really enjoyed the gift. Arrived on time, excellent condition.

Great looking locomotive, BUT it can hardly pull any cars. I bought it to pull 6 Crescent Limited Passengers and can only pull three at best. It can also only pull four freight cars.
