I like that they are small enough to fit where I will eventually put them. I am making a custom of one of the dash panels in my PU. Have made a rubber mold of panel then will pour into it a mixture of semi flexible plastic with some emerald coloring. Then put the LEDs behind the new panel with a rocker switch that has built in emerald lights, I’m going to use it for emerald green LED Fog Lights I’ve already installed. Pictures to follow.

These are great for model railroading or other hobbies that require good lighting of interior scenes.

Seem to be solid on the accessory (AC) power connections. I also wanted to upgrade some lighted passenger cars. In this case the LEDs only work if the car is rotated to match the polarity of the direction.. but if you hit “reverse” the lighting will not work. I also have one car that flickers badly (I’m using 2 strips of LED’s per car). Still debugging that one. It is fine without an engine on the track, but flickers badly once the engine is added.
Probably fine for lighting buildings (which is what I plan to do with the left-overs).
This is less a critique of the product itself (which works as designed) and more a caution for those who want to use for train lighting.

I installed 3 of these in 2 HO buildings, all easy connect to my 20 vac power supply, they are bright and so easy to attach inside of the buildings with 3M tape provided.
