  1. michael james garner

Excellent kit, very prompt service. Too much packaging for such a small box. I would buy another one.

  2. Thomas Beard

The fuselage curved so stopped building. The body construction was different than normal and i messed up so not sure if it can be salvaged.

  3. Amazon Customer

Just finished this model & am pleased with the results .

  4. Stephen Johnston

Beautifully cut kit and all parts were there. My husband loved this plane and has built them before so it will be a trip down memory lane. However, it is small and extremely lightweight – more like a Vapor. Still a great value and well made. I would recommend it to the experienced model builder.

Not that many years ago this was the only way to build a model airplane. It is nice to find they still exist.

The kit I received was die cut rather than laser, and uses the softest, thinnest balsa I’ve seen on of these kits. It also approximates the shape of the real aircraft a lot more than other kits (for example completely flat sides). The wire supplied for landing gear is not sufficiently ductile, and snapped well before it had bent to match the plans.
Extreme care is needed to build due to fragility of the wood, and overall it’s a bit disappointing. The instructions being on the back of the build plan also doesn’t help, as you can’t therefore see them while you’re using the plans.

    Enjoyed building this model

  8. Oldtimer

Kit had good wood and for the most part the die cutting was pretty good,

  9. George J Smith

Not nearly as good as some of the kits currently out there. It reminds me of some of the kits I put together in the 1960’s. First it is die cut… not the worse part however. The fuselage sides are solid balsa, so it is more of a “box” than the curved sides formers and stringers produce. The formers do not have the notches for the stringers so they have to be notched. I do not recommend this kit as it currently is. Guillow’s needs to seriously update this kit.

  10. Mr. Neil Henshaw

nice small kit.I have had a few myself.

  11. Cynthia Y.

Good for beginners. It would be great if the rubber and prop provided were of better quality and lenght.

  12. Duncan

Having retired, I decided to re-visit an early hobby, this model re-kindled it.
Bits of balsa and tissue paper, Guillows have done all I could have hoped for.
Excellent model, well packaged and fast delivery, my 2nd model is now on order!!

  13. Autoartist

I appreciated the challenge this model represents. 👌🏾
