I had very little problems with the construction of the model. One of the things I needed to do was to fill the fuselage behind the jet air intakes because they would not seat flush against the body but took care of that with Tamiya putty. level all glue lines that were not even with the body. You must test fit wing assembly to the fuselage because fit is uneven to fit against fuselage. Both lower halves of the wings had to tapered because they sat to high over upper section of wing (just sanded the inside of the outer edge of the lower wings to get a flush fit to upper wing. Just make sure all parts are dry test fitted to insure good fit. But other then the three issues the model was very easy to construct and I will say that final build came out very nice. Decals that were used was for the VMAT – 102 plane.

It’s a decent kit fun to build and when finished looks cool. My only problem was that the wings were molded wrong and didn’t really line up with the body or the bottom wings but you can fix that with plastic putty.
Dorsai –
poor directions caused flaws in building. Extra tabs also caused an incorrect build. Been building models for many years…disappointed
Kennyshadow –
Easy instructions and pieces adjoining perfectly!

I have not yet assembled this model, but I have reviewed the design. It looks very close to a real A-4 Skyhawk.
Back between 1968 to 1971 I served in the US Navy and refueled hundreds of A-4 Skyhawks. This model is a good replica of a Skyhawk that was part of VA-55

You get what you pay for. Overall, pretty good.

Just what I expected.

A-4 is my favorite aircraft of the Vietnam era. This is a great model.
