a very well produced model kit and quite challenging in order to build it right.

The cockpit on this kit was my favorite by far, also the way the machine guns come out of the wings and the way there rocker rails are mounted make this a very cool looking aircraft!! I’m what you would call a “what if” builder, what if the plane looked like this, what if it had this color scheme!? military colors are so drab and boring, instead I have fun and this one was certainly fun!!!

I swore I wouldn’t purchase anymore 1/48 scale models as my eye’s aren’t that good anymore and it’s just too much of a pain with all those little parts but…I needed it for my collection. First off, it came damaged, it was put in a bag and the box was smashed right down the middle. Fortunately, no real damage to the model but it still kind of upsets me that it was just thrown in a bag! I’ve watched how USPS handles the mail and they get thrown into the trucks and things get walked on and not treated very well. The model it’s self was okay but the decals were creased. It really didn’t have a great deal of interior detail. The parts were fairly clean but being so small they’re hard to clean up good. As far as fitting, it was okay as well but I had to do some manipulation to get it right. IMO it’s a $20.00 kit but…! It’s a small plane and not a lot of detail but didn’t have any real problems other than more sanding and cutting than I’ve ever done on a Hasegawa. For a Hasegawa it was not real great! Anyway, it was still fun to do and if I were to do it again: I wouldn’t want to pay as much as I did…it’s not worth $30 I have some photos coming.
