Hobbyboss 1/48 Focke-Wulf FW190D-13: This kit went together with minimal fit issues. If the builder wants to make the “Yellow 10” version, it is recommended that the EagleCals EC#19, Yellow 10 Special Release decal set be purchased. The kit does not provide the distinctive white swirl marking on the propeller nose, although some very skilled modelers can paint on this marking. I also added photo etch seat belts from the Eduard Luftewaffe WWII seatbelt set to compliment this kit. I would recommend this kit to intermediate builders with airbrushing skills if the intent is to construct the “Yellow 10” version of this aircraft. Plenty of reference photos are available for this version as the actual aircraft was surrendered and is now being housed in a museum.
