The worst thing about this model (I’ve built two) is the decals. They are very thin and fragile, tending to fold up on themselves. I finally bought third-party decals so I could finish the projects. If I had to do another, I would buy the decals separately at the beginning. The second problem is with the canopy. I had difficulty fitting it well with the two access sections in the open position. My third complaint is that the panel lines are very shallow. I tried to increase the depth on the first one I built, but that didn’t turn out well. I was disappointed that the company did not include markings for the Cobra shown in the photo initially included with ads for the model before the release date. That photo was of the AH-1G flown by a friend. Other than those problems and irritations, I liked this model. Except for the canopy in the open positions, the parts fit well together, the overall quality is good, and I like the larger size. After losing one of the parts, I contacted the company. They graciously sent me a replacement even though I did not go through proper channels, and I received that replacement quickly, even with the war raging in their country. Customer service is first-rate. I will probably buy more of their products.

The model over all is excellent and built out of the box display’s beautifully. If you are a detail builder, shop around for the aftermarket bits a pieces that will enhance the model’s interior and exterior.
