    What was missing in this kit were canopy masks. This was solved with another after-market purchase that worked out well.

    This kit is as good as it gets. Tamiya is always top notch, but they hit this one out of the park for sure. The detail is very good. all parts are crisp, clean, and fit near perfectly. very little trimming an no filler needed. The decals are the best I have used. I built with the ground attack loadout to be used in a late european campaign diorama. Happy modeling!

    Any experienced (or even beginner) model builder knows that Tamiya is one of the best manufacturers out there, but to say that this kit is excellent is an understatement. This is easily one of the greatest kits I’ve ever built.

    In standard Tamiya fashion, the instructions are well-written and easy to understand, nothing is over engineered and the details are absolutely perfect. This kit is full of recessed panel lines and excellent details all the way around. Every piece fits perfectly and not a drop of putty was needed.

    Yes, it is a little pricy, but you really do get what you pay for and I promise, it’s absolutely worth it.

    Easily the best P-47 in the market in 1:48 scale. If you’re feeling like building a P-47, you have to get this one!

    Tamils P-47 Airplane Kit feedback. Half of the box is wet, the instructions sheet is wet and because of the moisture inside the box, the decal sheet (marking insignia) is compromised and maybe not usable anymore. Replacement hereby strongly requested.

    Although I have not constructed it yet, the kit is wonderfully detailed and catches the powerful lines of the P-47 very well indeed. The kit box was well packaged, and arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Five stars all round!….Very satisfied!!!!
