  1. MAC46

I read a few negative reviews as an old mould press but nothing wrong nd nothing broken or missing am well happy

  2. Cory H.

fun to build with not to much difficulty

  3. MJ1788

Great model goes together well. The instructions aren’t very clear about the guns transport configuration and firing configuration but it’s not very hard to figure out. The figures are decent but if you’re going to build a high-quality diorama probably substitute them in with something else.

A cracking kit for the money. You get everything you need here including the crew and ammunition accessories.
The gun is a joy to build and is well detailed. The crew sprue is showing its age and mine came with such prominent mould lines that I had to double check that I was not actually taking off detail with my file. A bit of work will make them perfectly serviceable.
    Overall, highly recommended.

Old mold. More clean up than usual with a Tamiya kit, but it goes together well. I turned this one into a diorama to spice it up.

A great price for a good set piece of you are into setting up diorama type battles or just enjoy ww2 vehicles and weaponry and artillery. Great anti tank gun and great model and only a little over ten bucks might as well get it if you like ww2 models.

  7. Max Goddard

Not really for beginners or minors. But then again you do not have to build to the letter. Once constructed this was a really nice item. Ideal for a diorama or wargaming.

  8. Cory H.

Nice detail, easy build, reasonable fit, looks good

  9. Motoman

Easy to assemble and paint unlike some kits it doesn’t have 400 pcs it’s a rather simple kit the finished model looks great behind a halftrack

I got more than I paid for. I was skeptical about buying this kit because of the low price. At best, I thought I was buying an average model kit that looks fine but will not be the best. Also, I found out that this kit was first made in 1975 so that further reinforced this notion. I was wrong. Although this kit is old, the gun itself was very well detailed. I compared the model with pictures of the real gun and found out that this kit looks very similar to the real thing! It’s not easy to build because of all the small parts. I used a pair of tweezers to glue most of everything together. Once I finished and painted the model, I was very impressed about the quality and hard work Tamiya done to make this kit back in 1975. I’m sure this kit was created without modern equipment we have today such as computer software so I really appreciate this kit.

Although I like the gun, I hate the three figures that came with this kit. They look too cartoon like. Their facial expressions look like mannequins you find at your local clothing store. I thought I can make them look better by doing a real good paint job but it didn’t work. They still looked cartoon like so I gave up on it. I really like this kit. The gun itself is great but the figures are lacking. For this price, you can’t go wrong buying it and having fun building it.

I just love this little model it’s cheap it’s fun to build and it’s highly detailed and accurate highly recommend

  12. Dakota1995

The worst kit i’ve ever built. Upon opening the box I found all the parts had extremely heavy flash and ejection pin marks, but initially I didn’t see it as too much of a problem. Then I noticed the main gun is in two parts, meaning there is a nasty seam running the full length of it. Finally the fit was absolutely abysmal, it would probably have been easier to try and mismatch scales, the biggest issue being the gun itself and the recoil mechanism does not fit on the carriage, rendering the entire kit obsolete. As a modeller of 30 years, this is really disappointing and was the final straw for me in no longer building any tamiya kits. For beginners, despite the idea of this kit being small and simple, I would not recommend this kit at all, I have over 30 years experience and it still took me over two weeks to get the gun to fit, in the end I scratch built a new system to attach it, but the result was far from desirable, I primed and base coated it but the large seams and visible fit issues are still very prevalent, and frankly I don’t want to waste the paint on finishing this kit. Very disappointing indeed.
