This was a birthday present for my son who is really into models. He is perfect for his painting of the models he creates.

This Was my first airbrush for a little over a year until it had a part(the Nozzle) finally give out. This airbrush features functions similar to that of a medium end airbrush for a fraction of the cost. The trade off in this is in that the parts are made of the cheapest metals usable in said parts. This is not an issue overall as a newbie’s airbrush being that the risk of ruining the airbrush is only a 20$ set back. If taken care of properly with proper cleaning and thinning of paints then the brush will last a long time until its breaks from sheer wear which is a very good value for the price. I can strongly recommend this for those who do not want to spend 40$ and up for their first airbrush as this can add up when accounting for other required materials.

I took an unboxing video and then I put it to use. I’m very pleased with the outcome for a fraction of the price at similar air brushes. This thing takes the win. In my opinion I’m definitely going to be ordering another as I always like to have a new airbrush on standby thank you.

This is my first air brush and I was expecting better instructions than those that were included.

However, after using it for a while, I am impressed with how well it works.

It works exactly the same way as all the high end airbrushes costing 10X this. But there are subtle details that this really cheaps out on.
The air control of the the “two way control” is almost nill. The valve is open or closed. I have to use the regulator on the compressor to change my output on the brush because its on or off, there is nearly no in between like there should be. I tried adding a spring under the switch but have not found one yet that makes this issue any better.

Keep it clean. The materials used to make this are subpar, per the price, and if you get it dirty and leave it that way, you will end up buying another one because the parts will wear out from pulling it apart so many more times. Get a bottle of cleaner, and use liberally between colors and as needed. Do not let paint build up in it.

I was really surprised by this airbrush. I usually go with the name brand airbrush, I preferred master airbrush. I’ve gone through so many airbrush due to my own fault of not cleaning them right away, so i didn’t want to pay a lot of money for another airbrush. Name brand airbrush can be costly which i didnt want to pay again at the moment. So i looked around for a cheaper option that i could use, mostly for the paints and sealers that are harder to clean. I pretty much needed a throw away airbrush, if it broke its fine because it was cheap. I don’t use airbrush that much and i don’t use it for detail work. I wasn’t concerned with quality at the moment. i found this one airbrush for $20.

I didn’t have much hope but i was really wrong. This airbrush works and feels just like the more expensive airbrush. i would definitely buy more of these. My only concern is find parts for this airbrush since the name brands make it easy to find compatible parts, but once i figure that out then i think i will switch to these.

Definitely recommend these especially if you want to try airbrushing for the first time. You cant beat this price.

The airbrush does the trick and is just what I needed. I’m a beginner and not very artsy-fartsy, so it’s nice to get this at such an affordable price. We will see how long it lasts.

  8. Ratzkie

I am a beginner, it was easy enough to get going with. If you don’t thin your paints at all, the nozzle doesn’t feed equally sometimes, but the needle can be adjusted to allow more paint and a more even spray. If you are rough with it the button does pop off too, but its pretty easy to reassemble as long as you have the patience to be gentle and move the few small pieces.

Would recommend for first time buyers, but I now prefer the trigger brushes over these top button ones. I use this for priming and finishing so its a lot more just holding the button down and coating things rather than fine control needed, so for ACTUAL painting, this would be better than what i use it for. The trigger ones are just easier to use for what I need.
