  1. mythos

Generally it is a good kit.
Pros: nice cockpit details, firm decals, and options on canopy.
Cons: the die is a little old, so some details on surface are missing, some problems in assembling body and wings.

  2. Daniel Podbreger

Great fit up! Good decals. Would like to have had more bomb, torpedo options.

  3. Daniel Duffy

Arrived in a timely fashion with zero damage to the box. All of the parts are intact! This shall be a fun and interesting build since it will be my first Japanese model!

  4. N. Mahalic

Went together very well, really nice instructions, quality kit, kinda did my own thing with the paint, figured why not

  5. Sir Loin

Hasegawa makes some of the best kits around, and this is no exception. If you want to spend your time actually building and painting instead of dealing with continual problems from a sub-par kit (not that there’s anything wrong with that), Hasegawa pays off almost every time. This is newer Hawegawa, and so fit and kit engineering are excellent. As an interesting side note, the cockpit and spare canopy from this kit (there are two) can be used to complete the older 1/48 Nichimo E13A “Jake” Japanese Navy recon float planes. The Nichimo E13 kit is the only one in existence, but has no real cockpit and very toylike clear parts. Some modification is required to get a fit, but this is still a better and easier option than the cottage industry resin option.

  6. John R. Rollins

Nice model of one of the type of planes that attacked Pearl Harbor.

  7. The Machine

This is a great kit. I inspected it and found that all the parts and decals were included. It is highly detailed. Buy it.

  8. Amazon Customer

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my grandson, so I recant say anything about the quality of the model, however I was extremely satisfied with the quickness I received the gift. It came sooner than was promised.
