The model itself seems to be just like all other models. Not a lot of detail but which 1:72 has. The only drawback is all the instructions are in Russian. Thats ok for putting the parts together but the color scheme required a little research. All the paint is numbered for both MR Color and Aqueous Hobby Color. After cross referencing, found all the colors needed. Model looks great.

Very cheap kit, parts are crooked and don’t align properly. Two fuselage segments do not properly fit together. I used both a vice and rubber bands to try to get them to glue together but they were just not made properly. No amount of pressure would hold them together. I aligned all the interior pieces according to the instructions and it just doesn’t work. Will be buying the Revelle Mi-24 instead. really too bad, just a waste of paint and glue.

Ignore the reviews that say the parts don’t fit together. That is normal. They pour hot liquid plastic in the molds and it shrinks (about 1%) when it cools. There will be some warpage. No way around that. By then the company has already paid for the mold so they release the kit. That’s why few kits are without some warpage.
This model is excellent and helps me differentiate between the Hind and the birds in my back yard, so I don’t accidentally kill an innocent bird, thinking I am defending my home.

Extremely poor tolerances and if you plan on building this model, get used to the idea of sculpting or fixing the model with stuff like kneadatite or other epoxies
