   Dieser Artikel bietet die Möglichkeit, die 1/35 Bausätze des deutschen Panzer V ( Panther ) der japanischen Firma Tamiya mit Einzelgliederketten auszurüsten. Die einzelnen Kettenglieder müssen aus dem Spritzling gelöst und versäubert bzw. entgratet werden und Kettenglied für Kettenglied vorsichtig ( so wenig Klebstoff wie möglich ) verklebt werden.
   Warum dieser Artikel dem Panzerbausatz nicht direkt beiliegt ist wohl nur aus finanziellen Gesichtspunkten nachvollziehbar. ( Bei einzelnen Tamiya – Bausätzen des Panzer VI ( Tiger I ) liegt ein vollständiger Satz Einzelgliederketten bei ).
   Die dem Panzer V Bausatz beiliegenden Vynilketten sind nicht schlecht und lassen sich erheblich leichter und schneller montieren aber mit den Einzelgliederketten ist das Bild doch ein anderes und auch der Kettendurchhang ist realistisch darstellbar.

   the takom tracks were stupidly fiddly. These Tamiya ones are slightly less so, but still really frustrating and certainly not an easy option. They are hard to click together and pop open easily. I will have to try something else.

   The quality and fit is good as you would expect from Tamiya, and at a reasonable price. The downside is that the track guide horns are molded solid, not hollow as on the actual Panther tank, so this can make it look overly simplified or incorrect to some people’s eyes. Decide for yourself if this is important.

   If these were included in the kit I wouldn’t have any real complaint, but I wouldn’t have purchased them as an add-on if I had realized the guide horns were solid. I should have researched it better. But for what they are, the quality is excellent and the price is right. They suit very well especially if this is a 1st or 2nd time attempt at using individual track links – they are pretty simple to assemble for this type of product and not super-fragile.

   I bought these because the Tamiya Panther Ausf. G (late) had rubber tracks that were shrunken and short by about 6 links. The links are easy to remove from the sprues and look great once assembled. Tamiya always delivers.

    This is a great accessory kit of LINK-N-LENGTH track shoes designed for Tamiya’s Panther G Early Version, Panther G Late Version, Panther G Steel-Wheel Version, and Jagdpather Tank Destroyer plastic model kits in 1/35 scale. Kit comes with enough tracks shoes to completely outfit 1 vehicle kit and a few extras to add to vehicle as spares or extra protection.

    Construction of these link-n-length track shoes are is quite easy and fit of each shoe was very good – 5 stars. Have used this kit on 3 different Tamiya Panther G kits and assembly was very quick and easy. On I got into a rhythm, actual assembly took me about 2.5 hours per vehicle side. Good to add a bit more “realism” to the above mentioned kits. Remember that this is a plastic model kit and construction required. Paint/glue not included.
